Opportunities For Everyone

You can help Habitat for Humanity accomplish our goal of eliminating poverty housing in any of the following ways:

Your donation will help us build houses. We must raise approximately $45,000 to fund every house we build. Your gift can be made in any of these ways: by cash, check, the gift of a stock or bond or by credit card. Please designate the Mobile Affiliate when donating online.

Donation of land - donate land suitable and desirable for building.

New building materials – helping Habitat with a donation of building materials, what a great way to use your resources.

Loan us your equipment – we need a bobcat, crane and medium-sized moving van every time we build a house and, sometimes, we need a bulldozer or backhoe.

Labor to help build houses – Habitat houses are built almost entirely by volunteer labor. We need skilled and unskilled labor for all aspects of homebuilding, including framing, roofing, siding, dry wall, plumbing, electrical, cabinet installation, painting, clean up and landscaping.

Lunches - We need willing individuals and groups to provide lunch for our homebuilders almost every Saturday.

Warehouse storage space – we need space to store tools and surplus building materials and for pre-building windows and doorframes.

Gifts from the Heart – We’ll send a card announcing your gift in honor of a loved one or special occasion. Also available when you donate online (please designate the Mobile Affiliate when donating online). Read on…
